This product allows to convert a 12V voltage into a 24V voltage and also to charge the batteries.
It’s particularly advised when the on-board auxiliary bank is in 12V and the bow thruster in 24V:
- No need to buy a 230VAC/24V battery charger
- Cabling is getting easier (less wire-pulling)
- No risk to discharge the on-board 12V-bank thanks to its integrated monitoring system (the charge of the 24V-bank automatically stops in case of low 12V input voltage)
